Archived post from legacy Decis reporting
Good morning from Washington DC, where Spring is definitely springing… 🌼
Welcome to the SITREP for March 13, 2024
But first…it’s here - the big switcheroo!
Here’s what’s going to happen:
Today will be the last of the mid-week SITREPS 🙀
I’ll still share these once a week in the newsletter but the rest of the emails will be the blog and articles, not country reports.
All SITREPs and updates are available in the country assessment section of the DCDR app, which you can access through the app at app.dcdr.io. This makes things faster—you’ll always be looking at the most up-to-date version of the reports—and more accessible, as everything is in one place.
So far, so good. The newsletter will be more newsletter-y and the country info is still available for those who want it.
But wait, there’s more…
#1 The basic app is now free.
All users start with a free trial of all features but when that’s over, the basic country info will still be available.
(And when you’re on your trial, make sure to check out the chat agents and exercise builder. There’s a whole toolkit in there, not just the country info.)
#2 Maps are coming.
There’s going to be an interactive map you can use to quickly compare risk ratings plus, when you click on any country, you’ll get the full country report. No more scrolling through a long (and growing) list of countries.

101 countries is a LOT of coverage….
(Oh, and the app has had a complete makeover, plus there’s a big optimization project underway to speed it up even more.)
🚀
On to the SITREPs for today

As a reminder, SITREPs covers the comparative stability of the select countries, comparing current events over the last ~72 hours to the country's baseline stability assessment (i.e. what's 'normal'). That way, you can put events into context and determine if you need to take action — or seize an opportunity — in the short term.
(Note: DCDR's analysis engine generates these reports and conditions apply. See the footer for more.)
That’s it for this week. I’ll be back on Monday with the new schedule, but I’ll be on a maintenance sprint for the rest of the week.
Don’t forget: the latest, full, country reports are always available in the app — app.dcdr.io — plus, if you sign up now, you’ll also get a week’s access to the AI chat agents and exercise planner.
Have a great rest of your week.
